Objectives of the position:
Life Choices seeks a compassionate, capable, results-oriented leader to serve as the Men’s Services Director. This position is responsible for the development and growth of the department, support and training of volunteers, and coaching and education of clients.
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: Male Volunteers
Hours: 40-hour per week
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or work experience
- Two-year minimum experience working in an administrative setting within management/supervisory role
- Must have experience as a parent
Qualifications, required:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- Active commitment in a local church
- A passion for the ministry of Life Choices and a heart for reaching the lost in our community with the Gospel
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to pro-life principles and sexual purity
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies
- Exhibit skill in interpersonal communication, public speaking, and problem solving
- Ability to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support
- Be self-motivated to carry out responsibilities
- Strong leadership, organizational, written, and verbal skills
- Has compassion for young men facing fatherhood challenges in today’s society
Qualifications, preferred:
- Experience in coaching/mentorship
Essential Duties:
- Development of department and future programs
- Mentor and support male clients facing unexpected pregnancy
- Help recruit Male Coaches
- Interview, train, and support Male Coaches
- Conduct meetings with Male Coaches
- Assist Executive Director as needed
- Communicate with Center Directors
- Prepare and submit a monthly board report
- Must be available and assist in helping with fundraising events
