Synopsis of Role
Provide an excellent ministry to and with children and their families from infancy through fifth grade. It includes preparing, coordinating and directing all aspects of our ministry to the congregation’s children.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build, organize, manage, and schedule teams to manage the many responsibilities of a kids director.
2. Develop the education programs offered on Sunday mornings which includes helping to recruit and train leaders for the program.
3. Develop an annual ministry plan for the Children’s Ministry, manage its budget, and regularly evaluate the overall effectiveness.
4. Drive the creative atmosphere for kids church, including the look, feel, stage, and overall creative vision.

Experience/Education:
MUST-HAVES *Minimum two years paid or volunteer experience in a church or Christian organization. Life experience in parenting and/or children programming (either as a parent or working directly with parents and children)
NICE-TO-HAVES *Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in early childhood and/elementary education, or equivalent in Creative design role. Experience with Orange Curriculum.
