MINISTRY & PURPOSE

We are seeking a Minister to Kids and Families who is passionately in love with Jesus and wholeheartedly committed to advancing His Kingdom for His glory. This individual will have a deep desire to see children come to know Christ and will possess the visionary leadership needed to guide our Kids and Family Ministry to new heights. Working closely with our Minister to Students, this leader will craft and implement a comprehensive spiritual growth strategy for children from birth through high school.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic and dynamic communicator, adept at engaging both children and adults alike. They will excel in recruiting, training, and nurturing volunteers who are fully aligned with the vision and mission of FGC Kids.

Key responsibilities include setting the direction, vision, goals, and initiatives for our Kids and Family Ministry. The Minister to Kids and Families will oversee the weekend Flourishing Grace Kids Ministry, ensuring the creation of vibrant, safe, and age-appropriate environments where children can grow in their faith. Additionally, they will spearhead ministry opportunities beyond Sundays, including our popular monthly Bible Adventure Nights, Parenting Conferences, and the Summer Bible Adventure Camp.

Above all, this minister will be deeply passionate about equipping parents to lead their families in pursuing a flourishing relationship with Jesus every day of the week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 
  • Lead, develop & shepherd the volunteers of Flourishing Grace Kids Ministry.
  • Lead, cast vision, and direct the ministry, including budgeting, operations, family connections, strategic planning. Champion the value of kids,and families at FGC.
  • Weekend gathering leadership – uphold the values of Flourishing Grace Kids, ensure safety and correct ratios, and deliver fantastic customer service, Lead environments when necessary.
  • Oversee and innovate with curriculum implementation and activities for each area of ministry including new ways to partner with parents.
  • Lead special events (Monthly Bible Adventure Night, family dedication, Summer Camp, Parenting Conference, etc.)

  • Managing Vision and Purpose - communicates a compelling and inspired vision or sense of core purpose, talks beyond today, inspires and motivates entire ministry

EDUCATION
